PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic equipment capable of extending its duration by ensuring the stop of a generator during rotation of the generator at a low speed, and preventing the generator from being stopped by a disturbance or the like. SOLUTION: An electronically controlled mechanical clock being an electronic equipment includes a generator 2 driven by a spiral spring 1 for generating electric power, and a rotation control device 50 driven by the generated electric energy for controlling the rotational period of the generator 2. The rotation control device 50 includes a brake control device 55 for controlling the brake of the generator 2 by comparing a reference signal fs to a rotation detection signal FG1 which matches the rotational period of the generator 2, and a generator stopping device 56 for braking the generator 2 to stop it if the amount of braking applied to the generator 2 per set time is equal to or less than a first brake set value. Since the generator 2 is stopped with the amount of braking per set time, the stop of the generator by primary disturbance is prevented, whereas if the rotational period is delayed, the stop of the generator 2 can be ensured.
