PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software copyright protective device capable of surely preventing the illegal use of a software while guaranteeing the execution of a normal software even in the case that the hardware of a central processing unit or the like is exchanged or the like. ;SOLUTION: This device is provided with a main memory unit 2 provided with an identification information holding field 6 for storing the intrinsic identification number of the central processing unit 1 for installing an operating system and a sub memory unit 3 provided with an execution permission information field 7 for writing unused information as an initial value and a software information table 8 for making the name of the software and an execution permission flag correspond to each other. At the time of first activation after the installation of the operating system, the intrinsic identification number of an intrinsic identification information field 5 is written to the identification information holding field 6 and the execution permission information field 7.
