Measuring method null of the converter conversion efficiency in the chemiluminescence type nitrogen oxide

PURPOSE: To make it possible to measure the conversion efficiency of a converter even during measurement of nitrogen oxide without requiring any additional device in a chemical emission nitrogen oxide meter. ;CONSTITUTION: A sample gas is introduced to a measuring cell 15 by switching a channel (b) passing through a converter 16 for converting nitrogen dioxide into nitrogen monoxide and a channel (a) not passing through the converter 16 and the concentration of nitrogen oxide is measured based on the chemical emission caused by the reaction of nitrogen monoxide in the sample gas and ozone. In such measuring method, the conversion efficiency of converter is operated based on the peak value of a peak detection signal occurring immediately after switching the introduction of sample gas from the channel (a) to channel (b) and a normal value of detection signal under normal state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
