PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To condition the enteric microflora so that the resident lactic acid bacterium can be dominant, and to allow the resident lactic acid bacterium to proliferate based on the well-known fact that the state where many lactic acid bacterial exist inside the intestine helps keeping the health. SOLUTION: Lactic acid bacterium that is suited to human being such as Lactobacillus bulgaricus, L. casei, L. acidophilus, and Stereptococcus thermophilus is proliferated in a medium containing a plant protein, and is reinforced by the co-culturing method, and a substance (secreted substance) that is produced by a lactic acid bacterium and contains a cell division- promoting factor that promotes the proliferation of enteric resident bacteria is extracted. Taking (drinking) the substance permits conditioning the enteric environment so that the enteric resident lactic acid bacterium can reside to proliferate the useful resident lactic acid bacterium.
