New antibiotic RS28A, the manufacturing method and bactericide null for agriculture and horticulture

PURPOSE: To provide a new antibiotic effective to various plant pests, its prepn., and a microbiocide for agriculture and gardening contg. the abovementioned antibiotic as an active ingredient. ;CONSTITUTION: The new antibiotic is antibiotic RS-28A, which has a physicochemical properties as follows: m.p: 126-128°C, elementary analysis: C 59.01%, H 8.65%, specific rotation: [α] =+35.4° (C=0.5% methanol), UV spectra: λMeoH_max=212 nm (E1%_1cm=98), infrared absorption spectra: 3375, 2929, 1730, 1630, 1595, 1455, 1368, 1280, 1180, 1065, 967, 900, 875, 575 cm^-1, etc. The method for prepn. of the antibiotic RS-29A features culturing an antibiotic RS-28 producing bacteria belonging to Streptomyces and separating the antibiotic RS-28A from its culture to obtain it.
