PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device driver, semiconductor device and its design data base, and communication equipment, which enable a device designer to reduce time and materials as well as costs even if the bus standards and the type of operating system are changed.;SOLUTION: Communication equipment of the present invention operates so that a device driver converts data to a predetermined format packet using an I/O interpreter and a bus driver transmits the data to a semiconductor equipment after the packet converted is also converted to the data to meet the bus standards when the data is transmitted. The semiconductor equipment operates so that a bus interface converts the data received from the device driver via the bus to the predetermined format packet and a packet interpreter writes the packet converted into an internal register after the packet converted is converted to the data that matches the internal register of basic circuits.
