PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pull-out type vertical shaft pump and an installing structure for the vertical shaft pump avoiding excessive thickening of floor thickness in a newly constructed drainage pump station and which can be installed by using an existing floor in a specification change or the like of an existing drainage pump station without enhancing strength of the floor by troublesome civil engineering work.;SOLUTION: A rotating side member 4 is water-tightly and detachably fitted in a fixed side member 10 and supported by it, and for example, a flange part 9A of a discharge elbow 9 in the fixed side member 10 is pressed against the floor 12 of the drainage pump station 11 and fixed to it.
