PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint obtaining firm connection of a through pipe and a butt pipe connected vertically to this through pipe in butt state arrangement capable of disassembly and making connection and disassembly easily performable.;SOLUTION: This joint comprises a base unit presenting a short columnar shape to be provided in one end part with an engaging surface engaged with an external peripheral surface of a through pipe vertically placed to a butt pipe, a synthetic resin-made joint coaxially provided successively in line with the other end part thereof to consist of a fitting unit having a fitting part fitted to an end part internal peripheral surface of the butt pipe and having a cylindrical part coaxially provided successively in line with the fitting part, a moving top fitted incapable of rotating to the cylindrical part of the joint main unit to make a side into contact with an internal peripheral surface of the butt pipe with the cylindrical part press abut to the internal peripheral surface of the butt pipe by wedge action in cooperation with the cylindrical part according to axial movement of the joint main unit to fix the fixing unit and the butt pipe fitted thereto, and one bolt or a set of bolt nut tightening the moving top and the through pipe engaged with the engaging surface of the joint main unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
