PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator and a lighting apparatus utilizing the Seebeck effect of a semiconductor P-N junction.;SOLUTION: This power generator generates electric power, by utilizing combustion heat as the heat source of a heater 6 of an apparatus 1, utilizing the Zeebeck effect of the semiconductor P-N junction and water 3 for cooling a cooling section 2 and also limiting the temperature of the cooling section 2 with boiling or vaporizing heat of the water 3.
