PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute the bending work of a work without generating graze or the like due to slipor the like by taking the bending work as the bending method of a metal plate by rotating rotary bodies arranged on both before and after sides of an elevating/lowering body so as not to be relatively slipped to the work by linking with the relative descent of the elevating/lowering body. ;SOLUTION: This method is a bending method of the metal plate with the press brake in which the work W is clamped with a punch 11 provided on the press brake and the elevating/lowering body 9 provided on a lower die 1 so as to be vertically movable and, when the elevating/lowering body 9 is relatively lowered to the lower die 1, the rotary bodies 7A, 7B arranged on both before and after sides of the elevating/lowering body 9 are rotated so as not to be relatively slipped to the work W by linking with the relative descent of the elevating/lowering body 9. The elevating/lowering body 9 which is vertically movably supported with the main body 3 of the die, always upward energized with an energizing means and also, with the upper end part 9U of which the work W is clamped between it and the punch 11 of the press brake and the elevating/lowering body 9 and the rotary bodies 7A, 7B which are arranged on both sides before and after this elevating/lowering body 9 turnably supported with the main body 3 of die and also forcedly mutually turned in the opposite direction by linking with the descent of the elevating/lowering body 9 are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
