Pot planting transplantation device and transplantation method

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for the transplantation of a pot-planted young tree facilitating the transplantation work and dispensing with the use of a post for supporting the transplanted young tree and effective for preventing the deterioration of landscape after the transplantation which is inevitable in conventional transplantation method. SOLUTION: This transplantation apparatus is provided with a perforated cylinder 2 for holding the root part of a pot-planted tree in a state enabling the extension of the root outward through the holes and a connection member having plural guide members standing on the circumference to hold and fix the cylinder from above. Protrusions 5 directing upward are placed at prescribed parts of the connection member. The guide member is provided with a guide groove 8 and a bent piece 7 formed on a side of an engaging member 6 can be inserted vertically in the guide groove 8.
