PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a series of washing and decontaminating facility for reducing the quantity of waste of radioactive decontamination object.;SOLUTION: A radioactive decontamination object 5 is loaded on a belt conveyer 3 and carried in a shielded room 1. In the process conveyed further with the belt conveyer 3 in the shielded room 1, the object is washed with a washing device 7. Going forward, radioactive contamination degree is grasped with a radiation dose measuring device 8. By further going, parts with a high degree of radioactive contamination is ground and decontaminated with jet water from a high pressure jet nozzle 9 or a multiple-spindle machine 11. By further going, decontamination process is added to whole surface of decontamination object in a wide range decontamination device 14 such as an ultrasonic decontamination device. By further going, the object is washed again by a washing device 15 and carried out by the belt conveyer 3 from the shielded room 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
