PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle stretching bathtub apparatus by which tendons and muscles are easily relaxed and stretched while effectively utilizing bathing time, the lithe body is kept at all times and hernia of intervetebral disc and the sudden pains of the limbs are hardly caused. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a mounting body 16 arranged at a position at which at least a turning center is immersed in bathing hot water inside a tub body 12 in which the bathing hot water U is fed, whose turning distal end side is sectorially turned back and forth between a brought- down position and a raised position through a turning means. In the state of leaning the upper half body of a user on the mounting body 16, the mounting body is turned back and forth. In the relaxed and comfortable posture of leaning the upper half body on the mounting body 16, the muscles are effectively stretched and the lithe body is kept.
