PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy dispersion type protective fence capable of absorbing impact energy with the whole protective fence by dispersing the impact energy not only to a rope and a buffer implement fitted to the rope directly receiving impact caused by a falling stone or the like, but also to an adjacent rope and buffer implement.;SOLUTION: The upper parts of the adjacent support posts out of support posts 1 erected at specified spaces are connected by a beam, and horizontal rope grip fittings are mounted through grip fitting mounting members mounted in multiple stages at the beam lower parts of the support posts. The horizontal ropes are slidably tensed with extra length at both end parts when impact force of a specified value or more is loaded between the adjacent support posts by the horizontal rope grip fittings, and the tip of the horizontal rope is provided with a stopper.
