PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the uneven settlement of concrete placed on the ground surface of the soft ground so as not to interfere with the use of a building and the ground surface.;SOLUTION: A foundation pile 3 is driven into the hard ground 2 in a lower layer from the soft ground 1 so that depth D from the ground surface 1a of the soft ground 1 to an upper face 4a of a footing 4 provided at the upper end 3a of the foundation pile is the predicted ground settlement or more. The footing 4 is provided at the upper end 3a of the foundation pile 3, and a column 5 is erected on the footing 4. The concrete 6 is placed on the ground surface 1a of the soft ground 1 excluding the upper part of the footing 4, and a buried space 7 above the footing 4 is filled with a removable embedded material 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
