PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a culture medium for microorganisms which can color the colonies of Salmonella bacteria to specifically detect the colonies and is capable of being stored for a long period of time on a culture medium laminate containing porous matrix layers and water-soluble polymer compound layers, and a sheet-like culture medium using the laminate.;SOLUTION: This culture medium laminate for Salmonella bacterial detection is a laminate containing porous matrix layers and water-soluble polymer compound layers and is characterized by including a culture medium component containing a thiosulfate salt and a polybasic organic acid iron (III) salt in this laminate. The sheet-like culture medium has a structure in which this culture medium laminate is enclosed between an adhesive sheet and a transparent polyolefin film. Further, the culture medium laminate can be stored for a long period of time by distributing a sugar component and an amino acid component contained in the culture medium component respectively to other water-soluble polymer compound layers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
