PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheet-like culture medium solved on the problem of such conventional colibacilus group detective culture medium as necessitate effort and time on cultivation, consist of the form producing a large amount of plastic waste or can not correspond to the use for various examinations.;SOLUTION: This sheet-like culture medium is obtained by gluing a culture medium laminate containing a porous matrix layer and two or three layers of water-soluble polymer compound layers to an adhesive sheet to produce a sheet-like culture medium with the structure in which the adhesive sheet is covered with a transparent film and including a nutrient component, e.g. meat extract, peptone, lactose or the like, at least one kind of components selected from the group consisting of bile powder, deoxycholic acid (salt) and bile salt, a pH regulator and a coloring substrate for β-galactosidase in the water-soluble polymer compound layers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
