TEAR SPRAY AND TEAR SOLUTION FOR BURGLAR REPULSE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tear solution for burglar-repulsive spray comprising ethanol extract, such as cayenne pepper, wasabi, etc.;SOLUTION: A tearing component is extracted with ethanol from cayenne pepper, wasabi, etc., to obtain an ethanol extract. The extract is diluted with water to less than 60 v/v % of alcohol concentration to obtain a fire undangerous substance of a higher flash point. In this case, if the ethanol extractant is merely diluted with water, the solubility is lowered to separate the solute. So a nonionic surfactant is added to the extractant to restrain its separation. The used ethanol extractant is of 5-40 wt.%, and the surfactant is of 0.01-3 wt.%. The tear solution is filled in a spray container 1 and is sprayed through a nozzle in a bar state or radially in a coarse-particle state to extend the range.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
