PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for forming a micro convex lens with a concave shape and having D(r-0.45) mm, provide a method of producing the same, and also provide a method of producing the micro convex lens.;SOLUTION: The method of producing the mold for the micro convex lens comprises the steps of adopting as a base material a cemented carbide having as a main component tungsten carbide (WC), machining a molding face of the base material into the same shape of the micro convex lens, and then producing a mother mold 21 which forms on a molded face a protective film 28 having high strength and durability and is free from reactivity with glass, heating and softening a raw material 13 before crystallization for a crystallized glass using the mother mold 21, and then press-molding the softened material into a concave shape which is a reverse rotational shape of the micro convex lens, and applying crystallizing treatment, and thereafter forming on a surface 14 a protective film having high strength and durability and which is free from reactivity with the glass.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
