PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image tilt correcting device for generating an non-tilt image capable of keeping an original image horizontal, when an object image intended for tilt correction in the original image is picked up in a front view.;SOLUTION: The image tilt correcting device comprises means for judging whether the object image intended for tilt correction in the original image is imaged in front view or in views other than the front view in accordance with the inclination of two line segments specified by a user and a means for giving line segment changing processing to one line segment which extends, so that the heights of the upper end points of the two line segments specified by the user correspond to each other and the heights of the lower end points of the two line segments specified by the user agree with each other, when the object image intended for tilt correction in the original image is judged to be picked up in the front view.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
