PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CAD/CAM system for designing a press die capable of preventing an installation mistake and missing installation of necessary parts and also shortening operation time by automating coordinate input operation for installation of parts, upon designing a press die provided for orderly press processing.;SOLUTION: An automatic part arrangement process is provided with an arranged range determining process determining a range for arranging a tool part for a press die in a plate, a circle selecting process for selecting an optional circle at first from the range determined by the arranged range determining process, the same circle searching process for selecting all circles having the same diameter and also drawing by the same kind and color of line with the circle selected by the circle selecting process from the range determined by the arranged range determining process, and a part arranging process for arranging the same tool part of the press die against all the circles searched by the same circle searching process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
