PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for year-round elcosion of a beetle by which the beetle can be made to eclose in a period when the eclosion is not found in the natural world such as the winter season and to provide a simple apparatus for year-round eclosion of the beetle capable of observing the process thereof.;SOLUTION: This apparatus for year-round eclosion of the beetle is characterized by refrigerating and preserving a matured larva of the beetle such as a coleopterin or a stag beetle, as necessary, taking out the larva, warming the larva at a prescribed temperature, making the larva elose and further installing each transparent rearing case 3 containing a mat 2 for rearing the larva and a body case 6 containing warm water 5 for dipping the rearing case 3 therein.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
