Disclosed apparatus for promoting eclosion and oviposition of Hermetia illucens comprises: an oviposition space which is provided as a space in which adults of Hermetia illucens are placed for mating and is divided into a mesh capable of flowing air; an oviposition container provided as a box disposed on one side of the oviposition space, containing an oviposition promoting medium which promotes oviposition of adults of the Hermetia illucens, and having the upper surface shielded by an oviposition plate having a plurality of openings, wherein the oviposition plate has a plurality of projections along the periphery of the openings; and an oviposition promoting member arranged to be supported by the projections and arranged to shield any one of the openings.
