The asphalt slabs have a width of ca. 2-4 m and a length of ca. 5-20 m. Pre-fabricated asphalt slabs (3) are laid next to each other on top of a foundation layer (2) and then joined together in a line, either during and/or after being laid on top of the foundation layer. An Independent claim is also included for the asphalt slabs, which have connection means (4, 5) along their edges.
