Development procedure strontium titanate films using electrochemical without intermediate metallic layer. This procedure is to use SrTiO3 substrate as well in an electrochemical cell or any other system which requires a substrate that is a good conductor of electricity, characterized in that it is not necessary to put an intermediate metal layer to render it conductive. The main drawback of this material for use in an electrochemical cell is that it is an insulator and therefore can not be used as a cathode. This drawback has been obviated, so far, elaborate and expensive methods of depositing a metal layer intermediate that make driver prerequisite for subsequent deposition in an electrochemical cell. The present invention relates to a process for producing films or powders by using the electrochemical techniques SrTi03 as the substrate directly without putting an intermediate metal layer, which lowers and simplifies the manufacturing process.
