METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ANGLED TAPE TABS FOR USE WITH DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLES

A method for the manufacture of angled tape tabs for use with disposableabsorbent articles. The first step is to provide an adhesivecoated substrate (102) having a first centerline and a second centerlineperpendicular to the first centerline. A release substrate (110) havinga release surface (114) and an adhesive surface (113) is contacted with theadhesive coated substrate (102) and partially covers tire adhesivecoated substrate (102) to farm a laminate (120). The laminate (120) is thencut at an angle to the first centerline to form individual angledtape tabs (40). Each angled tape tab (40) has a fixed end and a refastenableend. The fixed end of the angled tape tab (40) is then securedto an absorbent article.
