A disposable substantially dry cleansing article is disclosed having acleansing composition impregnated onto a flexible substrate such as a non-woven cloth. The impregnated compositions includes lathering surfactants andwater in a relative weight ratio from about 1:2 to about 20:1, and having aviscosity ranging from about 70 to about 2.5 million cps. Speed of latherformation and foam volume increases within the window of the statedviscosity range.
