Fastener and method for providing a screw in a natural fibre board

There is disclosed a fastener for a screw in a natural fibre board (1). The fastener comprises a dowel (12) which is provided with a number of annular grooves (16). A hole (9) for the mounting of the dowel (12) is filled with a layer of bonding agent (10). By pressing in the dowel (12), which fits the hole (9), a pressing out of the bonding agent into the interspaces (13) between the fibres (14) occurs. After setting there is thus established a strong connection hindering extraction of a screw which is mounted in a central boring (19) in the dowel (12).
