PURPOSE: A method for allocating codes in a radio communication USTS(Uplink Synchronous Transmission Scheme) is provided to allocate a code after spreading a transmitting signal with an orthogonal code and multiplying it by a scrambling code using code time matching information. CONSTITUTION: A mobile station receives a synchronization control message from a base station(31). Data, a signal to be transmitted, are inputted to an encoder(32). As the mobile station divides a 150-bit frame into 15 slots and multiplies every slot by 256 chips, 1 bit is spread into 256 chips(33). The synchronization control message is used when the spread data are multiplied by a scrambling code(34). Using the synchronization control message, the mobile station multiplies the spread data by the scrambling code equivalent to the slot start timing of the frame(35). Then the mobile station transmits the data to the base station(36).
