FIELD: lubricants. SUBSTANCE: invention provides additive for long-term protection against corrosion of inside and outside surfaces mechanical engineering pieces, rolled metal, intermediate products and spare parts made from ferrous metals and their alloys. Additive contains 16-35 wt % mixture of monoesters of alkenylsuccinic acid and aliphatic amine fraction C10- C20, 9-24 wt % petroleum calcium sulfonate, and C12-C30-alpha-olefins - the balance. Preservative lube oil contains 5 to 20 wt % of such additive and also an antioxidant. Low specific resistance (no higher than 10⁶ Ohm-cm) allows applying the oil in electric field.
