Plastic surfaces with thermally sprayed coating and method for their preparation

The invention relates to a plastic surface with a coating applied by means of a thermal spray method and a method for the production of said coating. According to the invention, the first step is the production of a primer layer applied to the plastic surface as a base body, by means of a thermal spraying method and then a functional coating is applied to the primer, also produced by means of a thermal spraying method. The primer and the functional coating are differentiated by the material composition thereof. Zinc, zinc alloys, aluminium alloys and/or materials exothermic in the spray method are suitable as primers. The primer is particularly applied by means of arc spraying, flame spraying or cold gas spraying.
