Method in which the fixed space in which the physical quantity is to be represented is split up into partial volumes in which the measurement values to be represented have a single value and the value assigned to the partial volume is represented as a concentration of optically perceptible distributed particles. Thus if a measurement value is high the particle concentration is high. The measurement value can also be represented by particle shape and color.
