The device has a regulator(s) (54) and a correction device(s) (40) for actively damping an AC voltage or current that influences the regulator output signal with a correction parameter(s) so a demand value exists as the input parameter for a pulse width modulator (56) for controlling an inverter supply module (10) that converts a DC voltage into an AC voltage. A measure of the variation of the AC current with time is used as a correction parameter.
