PURPOSE: To obtain the nanocrystal alloy thin strip and magnetic core, in a nanocrystal alloy thin strip produced by a superrapid cooling method, by specifying the grain size and the content of Sn or S and forming an area in which the concn. of Sn or S is high in a specified region. ;CONSTITUTION: This is a nanocrystal alloy thin strip in which crystal grains having ≤50nm average grain size occupy ≥50% of the structure and contains by weight 0.01 to 1% Sn and is formed in such a manner that an area high in Sn concn is formed in the region of ≤0.1μm from the surface of at least one side.
