PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an echo-cancelling apparatus which has a simple structure, is easy to miniaturize, has superior characteristics, and can conduct a stable operation.;SOLUTION: A difference between a reception signal inputted into a terminal 51 and a reception signal estimated value is determined by an adder 52. The output of the adder 52 is outputted as a transmission signal from a terminal 57 and is inputted into a cancelling filter 53 and a noise adder 55. The adder 55 adds an output of the adder 52, while adjusting the level of an out-band noise formed in an out-band noise generator 56 and inputs it to a coefficient calculator 54. The filter 53 outputs a reception signal estimated value by using a filter coefficient provided by the calculator 54. The calculator 54 forms a filter coefficient to be used in the filter 53 from the output of the adder 55.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
