PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a promoter exhibiting specific inductive characteristics in a late maturation period and germination period of a seed.;SOLUTION: This promoter exhibiting the specific inductive characteristics in the late maturation period and germination period of the seed contains (a) a DNA which comprises a specified base sequence, (b) a DNA which comprises such a base sequence that one or more bases in the specified base sequence are deleted, substituted or added and functions as the specific inductive promoter in the late maturation period and germination period of the seed or (c) a DNA which hybridizes with the DNA comprising the specified base sequence under a stringent condition and functions as the specific inductive promoter in the late maturation period and germination period of the seed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
