PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently dry materials to be dried by indirectly heating wood ceramic capable of emitting the wavelength of far infrared ray having excellent drying efficiency to emit the far infrared ray.;SOLUTION: The materials to be dried are arranged on a wire mesh of a food tray 26 placed on a food shelf. Power is applied to an electric heater 38 arranged on the back surface of a wood ceramic panel 37 to heat. The wood ceramic panel 37 is heated by the heat of the heater 38 to emit infrared ray containing far infrared ray. The materials to be dried which are placed on the food tray 26 start to be dried by the infrared ray. In drying, a fan motor 9 is driven and inside air is stirred by a fan 8 to uniformalize the temperature and humidity of the inside air to eliminate the drying unevenness of the materials to be dried. The air present in the inside 6 of a casing 2 and containing moisture is discharged through a damper 11 by intermittently driving a blower 10 rotatably.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
