DRYER FOR WOOD HAVING BOTH FUNCTIONS OF LOW-TEMPERATURE DEHUMIDIFICATION DRYING AND FAR-INFRARED DRYING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a low-cost dryer capable of drying in a short period of time, for example, in one or two days, without cracking, crazing, bowing and changing color is longed for because it is difficult to conduct short-time drying as a conventional dryer for wood takes four or more days to dry and wood will suffer from cracking, crazing, bowing and changing color if drying time is shortened any more and it is difficult to conduct investment in facilities as it is expensive.;SOLUTION: A woody material impregnated or coated with deliquescent absorbent is adopted for a body of the dryer including a ceiling, a wall and an open/close door and the dyer has both functions including a low-temperature dehumidification drying function for which the wall itself of the body has a dehumidification function of wood and a function of a far-infrared dryer for promoting short-time drying at a low temperature while heating a natural ore which radiates far-infrared rays. The problem is solved by inventing the inexpensive dryer capable of drying a cedar wood of high water content in one or two days without cracking, crazing, bowing and changing color.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
