TRANSLATION SERVER, GENRE-CLASSIFIED ONLINE MACHINE TRANSLATION METHOD, AND PROGRAM THEREFOR

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translation server for allowing a user to explicitly designate the field of a technical term dictionary to be used for translation based on translation results, and to provide a genre-classified online machine translation method and a program therefor. PSOLUTION: Client terminals 10 and 40 transmit a translation request and a translation parameter indicating the condition of a translation environment designated by a user to a translation server 20. When a transmitting and receiving part 27 receives the translation request, a dictionary engine/file control part 26 assigns dictionary data to be used in translating from dictionary data stored in a dictionary part 30 based on the translation parameter.
