PURPOSE: To obtain a leadless glazing for bone china free from lead, meltable at a low temperature and capable of forming a smooth surface. ;CONSTITUTION: This leadless glazing for glazing the surface of bone china is composed of 59-66mol% of SiO₂, 4-8mol% of Al₂O₃, 10-16mol% of B₂O₃, 7-13mol% of at least one kind of alkali metal oxide such as Li₂O, Na₂O and K₂O and 4-11mol% of at least one kind of alkaline earth metal oxide such as MgO, CaO, SrO and BaO.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
