PURPOSE: To carry out the loading of reserve seedlings on a transplanter and the supply of the reserve seedlings from a reserve seedling receiving table to a seedling holding table with simple construction and operation. ;CONSTITUTION: The seedling feeding apparatus for a transplanter is composed of a seedling planting apparatus 6 having a comb-like seedling-receiving frame 3 at the top of an inclined seedling holding table 2 to feed the seedlings to a seedling planting apparatus 1 while reciprocating in lateral direction and connected to the machine body 4 in liftable state with a lifting link 5, a reserve seedling receiving table 7 for placing the reserve seedling A on the seedling receiving frame 3 and able to be passed crossing at the lifted position of the seedling receiving frame 3 and a seedling lifting apparatus 8 to lift and lower the reserve seedling receiving table 7 to perform the loading of the reserve seedling A and the forward and backward motion relative to the seedling receiving frame 3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
