PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair for assisting sitting on the floor with one's knees bent and with one's toes directly beneath one's body, capable of applying no load to the legs even in a long-time sitting upright so as to prevent interruption in the circulation of the blood and not disturbing the atmosphere of his environment during use.;SOLUTION: The reference numeral 10 designates this chair for assisting sitting on the floor with one's knees bent and with one's toes directly beneath one's body. The reference numeral 20 is a seating surface provided with a seating plate 21 forming a flat plate made of stainless steel into a substantially square flat surface (may be formed of aluminum) and a cushion part 22 formed on the top surface of the seating surface 21. A support hole 23 substantially circular in plan view is formed in the central area of the lower surface of the seating plate 21.
