PURPOSE: To produce a Ti alloy compact with the strength remarkably increased by sintering a Ti alloy having specified contents of Al, V, Co and Cr-B metallic compd. to obtain a preliminary compact and forging the compact at a specified working rate. ;CONSTITUTION: A Ti alloy contg. 2-6wt.% Al, 2-6wt.% V, 2-8wt.% Co, 0.01-0.3wt.% of a Cr-B metallic compd. contg. 0.01-0.3wt.%, based on the total weight, of B, and the balance Ti with inevitable impurities is sintered to obtain a preliminary compact.
