PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a name label preparing device and a name label preparing method for retrieving desired name information from among a plurality of registered names by using explanation phrases arbitrarily added to each of them, and to provide a storage medium. PSOLUTION: This name label preparing device for preparing a name label by printing a name image where explanation phrases are arranged along the row of names is provided with a name registering means for registering a plurality of names and arbitrary explanation phrases corresponding to those names as name information, a name retrieving means for retrieving one arbitrary name information from among a plurality of registered name information, and an image preparing means for preparing the name image based on the retrieved name information.
