PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channeling tool by which a spiral channel can be easily formed on the inner peripheral face of an inserting hole formed in an article to be worked.;SOLUTION: A channeling blade forming part 24 is formed on the apex part of a small diameter rod part 22 of the first channeling tool 21. A spiral channeling blade 26 is integrally formed on a number of positions on the outer peripheral face of a large diameter rod part 25 of the channeling blade forming part 24. A discharging channel 27 for discharging cut swarfs is formed into a gentle spiral shape on the outer peripheral face of the large diameter rod part 25. The height of the spiral channeling blade 26 is made lower as approaching to the apex of the large diameter rod part 25. When the channeling blade forming part 24 of the first channeling tool 21 is advanced into an inserting hole of an iron rod formed on a column and a beam while it is rotated, the spiral channel is formed on the inner peripheral face of the inserting hole by the spiral channeling blade 26.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
