PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ferment soybean milk by using a kefir grain. PSOLUTION: A method for producing a soybean milk fermented product comprises (1) a step for inoculating 100 g sterilized cow milk with 0.15-15 g kefir grain, (2) a step for culturing the kefir grain at 5-30C to prepare a starter, (3) a step for inoculating 100 g sterilized formulation containing the soybean milk and a fermentation auxiliary (one or more components selected from a group consisting of Ca, P, Fe, Na, K, Mg, Cl, a phosphoric acid salt, whey and lactose) and as necessary peptone, with 0.15-15 g starter and (4) a step for fermenting the soybean milk for 8-72 hr at 5-30C and/or until a lactic acid acidity becomes 0.55-1.50.
