PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment apparatus for a dioxins-containing gas capable of efficiently decomposing dioxins contained in the dioxins-containing gas, and a treatment method using the same.;SOLUTION: The treatment apparatus for the dioxins-containing gas is equipped with an induction bower 14 for passing the dioxins-containing gas through a gas passage 10 unidirectionally and an active water feeder 16 having a plurality of active water sprinkling parts 12 provided in the gas passage 10 so as to leave an interval in the flow direction of the dioxins-containing gas to sprinkle active water on the dioxins-containing gas. The active water sprinkling parts 12 include a forward active water sprinkling part 121 for sprinkling active water in the flow direction in the gas passage 10 of the dioxins- containing gas and a reverse active water sprinkling part 123 for sprinkling active water in the direction reverse to the flow direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
