PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stable conveyance of sheets of widely varying paper quality from a thin paper to a cardboard covering a low rigidity thin paper to a high rigidity cardboard, in a sheet guide device.;SOLUTION: The sheet guide device which guides sheets 2 to be conveyed in a sheet-feed press comprises a paper discharging cylinder 10 which receives the printed sheet 2 from a printing mechanism, an air blowing pipe 11 arranged in close proximity to a sheet pass in and around the paper discharging cylinder 10, air supply means 6, 7, 8 and 20 which supply the air to the air blowing pipe 11, and a control means 14 which controls an air supply from the air supply means 6, 7, 8 and 20. In addition, the air pressure or the air flow to be supplied to the air blowing pipe 11 by the air supply means 6, 7, 8 and 20, is controlled by the control means 14 in compliance with the specifications or printing conditions of the sheet 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
