PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device allowing accurate determination of an operation region of an ABS.;SOLUTION: When an absolute value for an adjustable speed G of a vehicle is larger than an absolute value for a preset value (S108: Yes), S108 proceeds to S112, and only when a detected wheel speed Vn computed by processing in S104 is a preset value or larger (S112: Yes), S112 proceeds to S114 where that it is in the operation region of the ABS is determined. So, when an actual wheel speed is lower than a detection lower limit of an actual wheel speed sensor, S112 proceeds to S110 where that it is not in the operation region of the ABS is determined. Namely, even when the actual wheel speed is gradually reduced and lower than the detection lower limit and the detected wheel speed Vn in zero, an error in determining that it is in the operation region of the ABS is prevented and accurate determination that it is a non-operation region of the ABS is made without fail.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
