PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation efficiency by providing service with assigning sectors evenly on both lobbies in a building having a first lobby and a second lobby.;SOLUTION: It is determined if an elevator car services a latest call (S1). It is determined which lobby sector to be serviced next by the car after arriving a lobby is assigned to a sector of, the first lobby or the second lobby (S2). If an estimation time for an elevator car to which the sector is assigned to arrive at the lobby is within a set time, information of the assigned sector is indicated on a lobby indication means S3, S4. Car call inputs for the car are limited in the assigned sector range when the car arrives at the lobby (S5). The car departs to a floor to be serviced when a designed condition is established (S6, S7) and the sector assigned to the car is released when the designated condition is established (S8, S9).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
